Torah Portion: VAETCHANAN- Dvarim (Deuteronomy) 3:23-7:11 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. Proverbs 31:26 Shabbat shalom dearly beloved! One of the most puzzling things that I have encountered in my ministry is the strange occurrence of men rejecting the wisdom that comes from wise Yah-Fearing women. Most of the time men would excuse themselves for having such a condescending, plainly despising and even hostile attitude towards wise women's instructions because of the "terrible mothers" or grandmothers they had. Deep seated roots of bitterness and rejection concerning their mothers rule many men and even those who would be considered to be God fearing men. This crippling attitude affects the way they relate to their wives and it brings enormous amount of strife and frustration to their married life. Those men who consider themselves to be Christian, Messianic or religious find a justification for their perennial "deaf ears" and actual rejection to the wise instructions that come from HER lips. God has made men the HEAD they say, we are the "boss", the ruler in the household and my wife needs to shut up and "submit"! If she does not shut up or "submit" blindly that wife is considered to be a "nag" at best but a "Jezebel" at worst. After all it was Woman Adam (later on called Eve) that led Adam into sin! They say! Interestingly enough even Yeshua was susceptible to this attitude and had it not been for His constant choice to do and say ALL that He saw in His Father (YHVH!), He would have rebelled against His own mother because she was a Woman! And when they wanted wine, the mother of Yeshua saith unto him, they have no wine.Yeshua saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.His mother saith unto the servants, whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. John 2:3-5 KJV His mother totally disregarded His bout of "Machoism" and told the servants to proceed with His instructions. Yeshua was a "good boy" and obeyed His Mom and the first miracle in His Ministry came forth! Praise Yah that the Son chose obedience to His mother, a Wise and Obedient Woman. Had He not- maybe His entire Ministry would have been affected with powerlessness! After all authority only comes when we are under authority! Yeshua was in His Mother's house and needed to submit to her wise authority! Once He was thrusted into the Ministry and His mom was mistaken by trying to stop Him, He did not submit anymore because she was "in the flesh" and was ruled by emotion and fear rather than by the Holy Spirit. PRIDEFUL MEN DO NOT LISTEN TO WISE WOMEN Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. Proverbs 16:18 Wise women mothers, wives and Five Fold Ministry leaders need to be listened to when they are in the Spirit! So many men are powerless because they have refused to listen to the Wise Women that Yah has placed in their lives. Pride against women in any kind of leadership makes many men weak because they put a deaf ear to Wisdom! Does not skillfulandgodly Wisdom cry out, and understanding raise her voice [in contrast to the loose woman]?On the top of the heights beside the way, where the paths meet, stands Wisdom [skillful and godly];at the gates at the entrance of the town, at the coming in at the doors, she cries out: To you, O men, I call, and my voice is directed to the sons of men.O you simpleandthoughtless ones, understand prudence; you [self-confident] fools, be of an understanding heart. Proverbs 8:1-5 AMP One day the famous Evangelist Aimee Sample MacPherson asked her Godly mother: "Can a woman be a preacher?" Her mother thought about it deeply and then replied: "Absolutely NOT!" "Why" asked little Aimee? "Because sin entered the world through a woman!" 12 year old young Aimee (who was destined to become one of the greatest Evangelists that the world has ever seen!) thought for a moment and then retorted: "But if sin came into the world through a woman, why cannot it GO OUT of the world through a woman?" Indeed sin left the world through a woman, a young woman by the name of Miriam (Mary) that because of her obedience to carry Yeshua to term against all odds the Son of Man, the Messiah of Israel was born! EZER KENEGDO - HELPMATE SUITABLE Now the Lord God said, It is not good (sufficient, satisfactory) that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him. Genesis 2:18 AMP In Hebrew the word from "Helpmate suitable" is EZER KENEGDO which really means: A helper (like the Holy Spirit is the Helper and Enabler) that OPPOSES him for his own good! A helper that mirrors him. Is your wife showing signs of distress? Look in the MIRROR! She is the husband's mirror! Is the relationship between you and Yah (God), you and her suffering? Men go ahead and "look in the mirror!" Is she happy with you? Is she constantly "nagging" you about the same things because you don't seem to listen? How is your "love life" with her and even with the Almighty Himself?  Godly women are assigned to be the MIRROR of their husbands. If husbands would just simply humble themselves to listen to their wise instructions, yes and even to their complaints they would grow up and become better and better, they would be more and more successful! WISDOM SHOUTS! Does notwisdom call, and understandinglift up her voice? Proverbs 8:1 Women that raise their voice are not necessarily a "domineering Jezebel" they may be shouting some Wisdom for their husbands who have become as fools that have refused to hear wisdom that YHVH Himself places on their lips! A famous woman by the name of Abigail who became King David's wife was married to a fool of a husband that would not listen to her wisdom. When David came asking for some food for his valiant men that were guarding Nabal's flocks, Nabal despised them and shamed them. He refused to give them anything! David was so offended that he decided on the "spur of the moment" to exterminate the entire household and estate of Nabal! Had it not been for his wise wife, Abigail that went to appease the wrath of David with a generous offering of choice foods and with wise words, her and all of her family and servants would have died that day! Then David said to Abigail, "Blessed be theLordGod of Israel, who sent you this day to meet me, and blessed be your discernment, and blessed be you,who have kept me this day frombloodshed and fromavenging myself by my own hand.1 Samuel 25:32 YHVH DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN! There are neither Jews nor Greeks, slaves nor free people, males nor females. You are all the same in Messiah Yeshua. If you belong to Messiah, then you are Abraham's descendants and heirs, as God promised. Galatians 3:28 Names of God Bible It is very interesting that YHVH many times revealed His will to the wife before He did to the husband! Such is the case with Samson's mother who is the one that was visited by the Angel of YHVH that gave HER instructions about the chosen baby! There was a certain man ofZorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren and had borne nochildren.Then the angel of YHVH appeared to the woman and said to her, "Behold now, you are barren and have borne nochildren, but you shall conceive and give birth to a son. Judges 13:2 Manoah, the husband was not happy that the Angel has not come to him first so he asked YHVH to send him again. But YHVH sent him again to the woman and not to the man! Elohim listened to the voice of Manoah; andthe angel of Elohim came again to the woman as she was sitting in the field, but Manoah her husband was not with her. Judges 13:9 Manoah was still not happy that his wife received direct instructions from YHVH and not him after all he was the Man! But YHVH insisted in giving the instructions to the woman and have this man LISTEN to his wise wife! Manoah said, "Now when your words cometo pass, what shall be the boy's mode of life and his vocation?"Sothe angel of YHVH said to Manoah, "Let the woman pay attentionto all that I said. Judges 13:12,13 In other words the Angel of YHVH was telling Manoah: "What is the matter with you? Why are you asking Me questions? I have already told your wife, listen to HER!" It is exactly the same thing with Miriam the Mother of Yeshua who was visited by Gabriel much before her fiancée Joseph. The angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. Luke 1:3 If YHVH would consider women "second class" He certainly would not share His Kingdom perfect will with them FIRST. Even Rebecca the mother of Jacob, the Wife of Isaac knew Yah's will concerning the preeminence of Jacob over Esau and because of her intervention Jacob got the Blessing of the First Born! But the children struggled together within her; and she said, "If it is so, why then am I this way?" So she went toinquire of YHVH.YHVH said to her, "Two nations are in your womb; and two peoples will be separated from your body; and one people shall be stronger than the other; andthe older shall serve the younger. Genesis 25:22-23 Had it been for Isaac, Esau would have received the blessing of the first born "and bye bye to all of Yah's redemption plan through Yaakov and Yeshua"! But his very wise wife Rebecca saved the day! (Genesis 27) Why did Yah share this world changing, history making information with the wife Rebecca rather than the husband Isaac? Why did He share first with Miriam and with Manoah's wife? WISDOM-CHOCHMA IS FEMALE! How blessed is the man who finds wisdom and the man who gains understanding.For her profit is better than the profit of silver and her gain better than fine gold. She is more precious than jewels; and nothing you desire compares with her. Proverbs 3:13-15 It is interesting that in the Word from the original Hebrew Holy Spirit and Wisdom is in female gender! YHVH has chosen His women to be Instructors of Wisdom even to their own husbands, to truly "oppose them when they follow the flesh" so they can become better and excel in every way but religious bias have kept men in bondage and marriages miserable! The solution for this is TESHUVA-Repentance! This kind of Teshuva will cause the biggest breakthrough in the condition of Kingdom Men, in Marriages and in all of society! When we perform weddings, my husband, Rabbi Baruch Bierman many times admonishes the husband to be: "Marriage is an institution of higher learning and your wife is the teacher!" In these End of Times YHVH is using many Wise Yah-Fearing Women in Leadership to instruct both men and women.  One day I asked Him: "Why are you using so many women in leadership in these End Times?" and Yah answered to me: "I am cleansing My House and women are better house cleaners!" Forit istime for judgmentto beginwiththe household of God; and ifit beginswith us first, whatwill bethe outcome for thosewho do not obey thegospel of God?1 Peter 4:17 It is the mandate of the hour for Kingdom Men to get rid of all their hang ups concerning women, to forgive their "terrible mothers" and reject all "self- pity"! If they don't they will miss the instruction of wisdom that is on "her lips" and they might miss the BEST that Yah has for their lives!
