Torah Portion MATOT-MASAEI: Bamidbar (Numbers) 30-35
For thus the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has said, "In repentance and rest you will be saved, in quietness and trust is your strength." But you were not willing. Isaiah 30:15
Shabbat shalom dearly beloved:
A few days ago I sent my computer to the repair shop because it was too slow and too heavy. It came back a day later with an instruction from the technician. He told me that my hard drives are too full and that I needed to remove some heavy files and especially pictures and videos. I followed instructions faithfully nevertheless the drives still looked too full and one of them was "in the red". I returned to the computer shop and expressed my frustration of the computer's malfunctioning. In fact I was so exasperated with it that I wanted to throw it to the bin even though it is only about two years old and a very good brand. I had many tasks pending and my work tool was simply not cooperating with me!
I sat with the technician who seemed to have no answers and I was quietly praying for Yah's help on this matter. All of a sudden the technician seemed to have an illumination. "Will you allow us to wipe it clean and to REFORMAT it?" I said "Go ahead, I have removed all my important files anyways, just wipe this "baby" clean and heal it! I need it urgently!" And so it was done and at no extra cost! A couple of days later I got my computer except that it was like brand new! It had gone back to its former effective performance, HaleluYah! And I wanted to throw it to the bin when the only thing it needed is REFORMATTING!
REFORMATTING-REPENTANCE-TESHUVA
For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares YHVH, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 9:11-13
 We all need "reformatting" once in a while. That word for humans is TESHUVA or Repentance. TESHUVA has 4 distinctive meanings and it comes from the Root Hebrew SHUV (שוב) - It means: To RETURN, to REPENT, to be RESTORED, and ANSWER. In other words the Answer (Teshuva) of all our ills is Repentance (Teshuva). Teshuva is a type of "Divine Reformatting". The Highest Technician is of course YHVH, Elohim, the Creator of Adam, the only One who can "fix us". Many of us are getting frustrated with ourselves, our lives, with others and with God Himself! Some people are so frustrated with everything that they choose to "throw their lives to the bin" just like I wanted to do with my computer.
Some end up committing suicide because they refuse to do Teshuva and to REFORMAT or reform their lives to the original plan of Yah!
I knew such a man that was very dear to me. The last words that I heard from him were: People are telling me that I should repent and accept Yeshua but I will never repent. When he said those terrible words I had the chills and begged him not to be prideful against Elohim. A few days later he shot himself and left a broken family and two beautiful children behind that are suffering to this day because he CHOSE not to REPENT! If Psychiatrists and Psychologists understood the importance of Teshuva, they could rescue a lot of people! Instead they are filling them with meds and psychotherapies that at best it can provide a "band aid" for a very serious ROOT condition of sins like pride, bitterness and rebellion some with reason because of tragedies, abuses and/or traumatic events but nevertheless those attitudes kill people! Whether with reason or without reason the ROOT cause of all diseases, ills and mental problems is SIN.
In Hebrew SIN is the word CHET which means to "miss the target". When we keep "shooting" and trying to live our lives without Teshuva by Returning unto Yah's (God's) Ways, we will keep sinning or missing the target. Finally out of sheer frustration we can harm ourselves or others. No one really enjoys being a "misser". Sin and unrepentant hearts makes us LOOSERS! The biggest sin is the sin of PRIDE against Elohim Himself. Many people throw a fist at God saying:
It is all your fault, you allowed all this evil, where were YOU!?
That prideful attitude of victimhood and self-pity is preventing people from Repentance and they choose sickness, depression, misery and death rather than to humble their hearts before the Creator of Heaven and Earth and surrender their lives to Yeshua! As if the Creator of Life owes man an explanation!
You turn things around! Shall the potter be considered as equal with the clay, that what is made would say to its maker, "He did not make me"; or what is formed say to him who formed it, "He has no understanding"? Isaiah 29:16
It is very simple: This world is a fallen world because Adam gave his authority to satan through SIN, that is the source of all social ills as satan is now ruling man through DECEPTION.
You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44
 Yeshua took it back by laying down His life though sinless. His blood is the only atonement for all sin and when we surrender our lives to Him we get the authority that Adam lost back and we can rule in life and over all circumstances and demons as we believe, declare and obey His Word!
Having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him. Colossians 2:15, 16
THE PEOPLE OF GOD ALSO NEED TO REPENT
And My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
Most of the verses about Repentance in the Holy Scriptures are actually addressed to the People of the Covenant both in the Hebrew Holy Scriptures ("Old Testament") and in the Apostolic Writings (New Testament). In both cases the ANSWER (Teshuva!) for all impasses is to "draw near unto Elohim"
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Yaakov (James) 4:8
This is likened unto "taking the computer to the shop for fixing or reformatting". If I would have not given it to the technician and if I would have not allowed him to wipe it clean and to reformat it, I would have lost my computer or I would have trashed it in anger and frustration! So many are "trashing" their lives in bitterness, anger and frustration then anxiety and depression because something is not working! Their lives are HEAVY. They are heavy with sinful attitudes, heavy with pride and unbelief, heavy with bitterness and unforgiveness, heavy with disappointment and grief and so their FUNCTIONING is impaired.
 Just like my computer DID NOT RESPOND to the simplest COMMANDS because it was so heavy, so we do not respond to Yah's written or spoken commandments and instructions. We are too heavy and non-responsive.
Our mouth has been uttering words of bitterness, anger, unbelief and we wonder why there is no change, then we get more frustrated and end up in a totally vicious circle!
And the tongue is a fire, the very world of iniquity; the tongue is set among our members as that which defiles the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell. Yaakov (James) 3:6
The GOOD NEWS is that YHVH does not want to "throw us to the bin" because we are dysfunctional, non-responsive and plainly prideful, self -righteous stubborn and disobedient. He wants to fix us but He can't do it unless we let Him! In order to let Him we have to LET GO and STOP.
Harpu (Let go! Relax! Rest!) And know (intimately) that I am Elohim (Creator and Re-Creator), I will be exalted in the Goyim (Nations), I will be exalted in the ARETS (Land of Israel). Psalm 46:10
The only way that we can relax, let go or be still is by humbling ourselves in prayers and in fasting. We need to check ourselves into the "shop" and give Him TIME with undivided attention so He can REFORMAT us. When we rush in and out, He can only put a "band aid" but cannot really heal us and save us from our destructions. But when we STOP and REST and give Him and the Word our time, when we SEEK Him without any agenda besides TESHUVA, He will do His peculiar work in us and convict us of sin, comfort, heal and restore us.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
REFORMATTING THE CHURCH
For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 1 Peter 4:17
 The whole Church needs to be wiped clean of Replacement Theology and be Re-formatted or Reformed and Transformed. This Prophetic Message has been preached in many nations and through many mediums for at least 20 years now! It is TIME for all Five Fold Ministers, Pastors and Leaders together of all believers to go on our knees in humility and present ourselves to the Heavenly Technician for REFORMATING. There are some "doctrinal files" that need to be deleted, there are some programs that are preventing right (righteous) functioning!
The whole make up/style and content of Christianity and the Church needs to be "wiped clean" and reformatted to the original Gospel "made in Zion" not in Rome, Babylon, Europe or the USA.
If we do not STOP and REPENT, we will eventually stop anyways but it may be too late?

When Isaiah spoke these words, the People of Judah were being pressed from every side. The City of Jerusalem had been besieged already by Babylon and the threat of a take-over was looming over it like vultures waiting for the prey. In the midst of that distress Isaiah gave them the TESHUVA (answer) from YHVH and the Teshuva was TESHUVA. The answer was repentance! No more "toiling", no more trying to "appease" the King of Babylon because of the FEAR OF MAN but Repentance to His Ways and Torah through Shabbat Rest, Quietness and Confidence in YHVH, in His Word, His Promises, His Love and His Ability to deliver them! But they were not willing and so they went into the Babylonian Exile for 70 long years! Later on they would not be willing again and the Holy City would be destroyed once again and the Jewish People would go to a longer exile of about 2000 years!
REPENT FROM THE FEAR OF MAN
The fear of man brings a snare, but he who trusts in YHVH will be exalted. Proverbs 29:25
So many are trying to appease the "King of Babylon" in Western Christianity, so many are afraid of "what people will say" and of persecution if they stand for the Truth! The Truth is that Yeshua is a Jewish Messiah and He is calling us all to repent for dressing Him in foreign garments, with foreign feasts and a foreign name. He has been super patient for 1700 years but the Heaviness of this Sin of Replacement Theology that has defiled his Bride and has murdered millions of His Jewish People is far too much to go on with!
He says: "Fear Me and not what men will say, come to ME and not to religion and I will cleanse you, wipe you clean and will completely REFORMAT your faith and Restore you to My original Plan and Gospel. Are you WILLING?
In repentance and rest you will be saved Church, are you willing?
Teshuva is the Answer!
