The Key for Mental Health #2 "Remember the law of my servant Moses, the statutes and rules that I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel." Malachi 4:4 Shabbat shalom dearly beloved! On the 8th day since the start of Sukkot is Simcha Torah, the Feast of Rejoicing over the Torah! The new annual cycle of reading the Torah starts again! Most of this Shabbat letter is Scriptures that will change your life! The KEY issue that determines our mental health is what we remember and what we forget. The Word has much to say about it! Below is the continuation from next week! He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:20 REMEMBER YESHUA AND THE NEW COVENANT "For I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes." And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me." Luke 22:18-20 For I received from YHVH that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Yeshua in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me." In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." 1 Corinthians 11:23-25 YHVH'S LONG TERM MEMORY HE REMEMBERS HIS COVENANT FOREVER He remembers His covenant forever, the Word that He has commanded for a thousand generations, the covenant that He made with Abraham, His sworn promise to Isaac, which He confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, saying "To you I will give the land of Canaan, as your portion for an inheritance." Psalm 105:8-11 "Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you." Isaiah 43:25 Behold, days are coming," declares YHVH, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them," declares YHVH "But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days," declares YHVH, "I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, 'Know YHVH,' for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them," declares YHVH, "for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more." Jeremiah 31:31-34 YHVH REMEMBERS HIS COVENANTS But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the cattle that were with him in the ark; and God caused a wind to pass over the earth, and the water subsided. Leviticus 26:45 "When you go to war in your land against the adversary who attacks you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, that you may be remembered before YHVH your God, and be saved from your enemies" Numbers 10:9 PRAYERS FOR REMEMBRANCE SAMSON ASKS YAH TO REMEMBER [Samson Is Avenged] Then Samson called to YHVH and said, "O YHVH God, please remember me and please strengthen me just this time, O God, that I may at once be avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes. HE DOES NOT REMEMBER THE BACKSLIDERS UNLESS WHEN THEY HUMBLE THEIR HEARTS AND PLEAD FOR MERCY BY ASKING YAH TO REMEMBER THEM "When I say to the righteous he will surely live, and he so trusts in his righteousness that he commits iniquity, none of his righteous deeds will be remembered; but in that same iniquity of his which he has committed he will die." Ezekiel 33:13 YHVH REMEMBERS THOSE WHO FEAR HIM Then those who feared YHVH spoke to one another, and YHVH gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear YHVH and who esteem His name. Malachi 3:16 Remember us and Israel in prayer! Remember those who have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the Word of God. Follow their faith, considering the outcome of their manner of living.
